Kevin Pietersen, who is a stormy batsman of English cricket team, is all set to do commentary in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. The English cricketer, who is famous for hitting reverse-sweep shot with a great technique, will be seen sitting in the commentator’s room and updating the spectators by stating the live happenings in the matches of tenth season of IPL.
The right handed batsman, who has been a powerful hitter in England’s cricket team since long time, took his twitter account to share his decision of donning the commentator’s role in the coming season of IPL. Revealing the same through his tweet on micro-blogging website, the cricket wrote, “IPL NEWS – I’ll be commentating on week one, week four & the finals. Will be fun to be back in India.”

2017’s IPL tournament is slated to commence on 5th April. Kevin said through his tweet that he would be commentating in first and fourth week. He further added that he would do the same job in the finals of this long-lasting championship.
Fans of this legendary cricketer were expecting him to perform as a batsman in this tournament, but the desires of his fans aren’t going to be fulfilled this time as he has already withdrawn his name from IPL 2017 auction stating that he needs to spend some time with his family in the months of April and May.
This won’t be the first time for Peterson to sit in the commentary box and update the match-watchers with live scores and statistics of the game. He has done this job previously in the series of matches played between Australia and South Africa last year. Peterson has also played the role of a commentator in the Big Bash League.
