The two teams are set to confront on 24th April 2017 at Wankhede stadium located in Mumbai, capital city of Maharashtra state. The game is slated to begin at 8:00 PM, according to local time. This will be eighth match of MI while RPS will be playing its seventh match in this season of IPL.

This is not the first time for both teams (Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants) to clash in this fastest format of cricket competition. MI and RPS played their first match against each other on 6th April this year.
RPS had defeated Mumbai Indians in the opening match, which was played at Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune. The Pune’s team succeeded in winning the first game on their home-ground. Now, they are going to face the challenge of confronting with MI in Mumbai. Victory in this match is quite necessary for RPS so as to make its position stronger in IPL 2017 points table. On other hand, Mumbai Indians will suffer no major loss if it fails to win this match.
