In the very first match of Indian Premier League 2017, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad are going to compete at Rajiv Gandhi International stadium in Hyderabad. RCB has won the toss and elected to bowl first. The team Royal Challengers Bangalore will bat in the second inning of this game.
The two teams, who had confronted in last year’s IPL finals, are set to battle in the opening match of this edition of Indian Premier League. David Warner will be leading Sunrisers Hyderabad while his Australian companion Shane Watson will captain Royal Challengers Bangalore in this game.
The two teams are capable enough of winning the first game as squads of both teams include powerful batsmen. Apart from the strong hitters, the teams also comprise of smart and aggressive bowlers. SRH has Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra as leading pacers while RCB has Tymal Mills, Sreenath Aravind and Aniket Choudhary as main bowlers.
RCB had lost the final match of IPL 2016. SRH defeated RCB in that game and won the title ‘IPL 2016 Champions’. The team (SRH) is expected to showcase similar kind of performance in this match also. On other hand, RCB team is missing top order batsmen – Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and KL Rahul. These cricketers will not be playing in this tournament as they’re undergoing medical treatment over their physical injuries.
