In the 24th match of tenth season of IPL, which was played between Rising Pune Supergiants and Sunrisers Hyderabad, RPS won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision taken by captain Steven Smith seemed quite unwell when the opener batsmen of opponent team started their batting inning with speedy approach.
The team scored 176 runs in 20 overs with the loss of three wickets. Opener cricketers David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan commenced the batting inning of Hyderabad’s team by hitting big shots to score the runs fast. Warner made 43 runs in 40 balls and Dhawan scored 30 runs in 29 balls. SRH team’s run rate was lowered down by the aggressive attack of bowlers of RPS team in initial overs of the first inning of the match.
After the wickets of Warner and Dhawan, Kane Williamson scored 21 runs in 14 balls. Moises Henriques and Deepak Hooda continued the batting inning after their team lost the wickets of three main opener batsmen. Their partnership took the overall score of team to the triple digit figure.
Henriques scored 55 runs in 28 balls. He hit 6 fours and 2 sixes while scoring those runs. Deepak scored 19 runs in ten balls. He hit 2 fours and 1 six. The team ended up building a huge score of 176 runs in twenty overs. Jaydev Unadkat, Imran Tahir and Daniel Christian picked up on wicket each while Ben Stokes, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur went wicketless in this match.
