West Indies vs Pakistan 1st Test

First Test match between West Indies and Pakistan is scheduled to start from 21st April 2017. The game will be played for five days and will about to end on fifth day from the day of commencement i.e. 25th April 2017. The match is going to be played at Sabina Park stadium, which is located at Kingston in Jamaica.

This will be the very first Test match in ‘Pakistan’s tour of West Indies’. Till now, both teams have played four Twenty-20 matches and three ODIs (One Day International) matches. Out of four T20 games, Pakistan has won three matches. The team won the series of four T20 matches by 3-1 lead.

On other hand, team ‘West Indies’ has been less successful in these series of matches played against Pakistan. West Indies could win only one ODI match out of three matches. Pakistan won the ODI series with 2-1 lead. Now, the hosts need to showcase improvement in its performance so as to win the Test series.

Most of the main players in West Indies’ cricket team are currently busy playing IPL. This is major loss for WI team. As no Pakistani player has been allowed to play in Indian Premier League after 2008’s terrorists attack happened in Mumbai, the team is having all its players available for the series of three Test matches.

2nd Test match to be played between West Indies and Pakistan is about to start from 30th April 2017. The second Test match is scheduled to end on 4th May 2017. After the two matches, the third one is slated to commence from 10th May 2017 and will terminate on 14th May this year.
