In the fourth T20 match being played between West Indies and Pakistan on 2nd April (Sunday) at Queen’s Park Oval stadium located at Port of Spain in Trinidad, West Indies has scored 124 runs in 20 overs. Pakistan needs to score 125 runs to win this game as well as the series of four Twenty-20 matches with 3-1 lead.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first. The opponent team didn’t have a proper commencement of their inning as their opener batsman Evin Lewis lost his wicket in third over. Wicket-keeper-batsman Chadwick Walton scored 40 runs and played a vital role in building an average target for the opposite team.
Marlon Samuels made 22 runs in 21 balls and accompanied Chadwick in forming a base for team’s score. No other player in the batting lineup, except Carlos Brathwaite (37 runs), managed to contribute majorly in setting up a good score for the team by playing an important inning.
Pakistani bowlers Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali picked up two wickets each. Among other bowlers, Rumman Raees, Imad Wasim and Wahab Riaz picked up one wicket each. West Indies scored 124 runs in 20 overs. Now, Pakistan needs to chase this target to clinch the game as well as the T20 series.
